On the prowl...

hello again friends.

Well, someone requested that I draw Catwoman and here she is! Drawing and coloring wasnt as difficult as I thought it would be. although, it came out more simplistic than I had intended. But maybe thats a good thing. I'm still learning how to create images online. So i'll get the hang of it. Learn by doing folks!

If theres a character you want me to draw...let me know! I'm always up for a challenge!

Last night...

I've got this friend. She likes a band. She has many friends that like the same band. But they're not groupies. Groupies sleep with rockstars because they want to be near someone famous. They're there because of the music, they inspire the music. They are Band Aids.

Heroes in a half shell...

Funny how childhood creeps into adulthood. When I was a kid I LOVED TMNT. Couldn't get enough of these four green brotha's. As I got older, I matured, sadly they didn't seeing as they're a massive cash cow for kids 14 and under. It's cool though, I aint mad at 'em.

The piece contains all 4 turtles. I started with leo (middle) then don (lower right) then raph (upper left) and then mikey(mid right) by time I got to mikey, i was outta space, so I just tried to cram him in where I could. The drawing has it's flaws. Like Raph's shoulders, Mikey's big head...but this is my first time drawing them since I was about 10. So, I guess it's not too bad for my first crack in about 18 yrs. One thing is, its not a total sketch. I drew this with the intent to keep it clean. No loose lines and scribbles. I did practice sketches, and they came out somewhat better than this. Perhaps i'll post those at a later date.

Hopefully, the pic enlarges to a decent size when you click it. If not, im gonna have to tweek my scanner a bit. Live and learn friends...live and learn.

The first of many...

Well, this is my new official art blog! I'll try to post new stuff I do often enough to make it worth everyone bookmarking my page. I chose this site because its sooo much easier to use than Facebook and Myspace. This is upfront and in your face...like my art!

I plan on using this page to keep me drawing and being artistic. Sometimes life gets in the way of our passions, hopefully this site will prevent that from happening. Feel free to comment on my posts. Thoughts are always welcome. And again welcome to Art de Diggity!
